I am delighted to be partnering with a large North East based manufacturing company who, due to internal promotion are looking to recruit a Finance Controller on a permanent basis.
You will join a busy finance department and will be a key member of the finance reporting and governance section.
Reporting to the Senior Controller your responsibilities will include:
- Monthly and statutory reporting
- Ensuring compliance with internal accounting and governance policies
- Technical accounting
- Presenting to senior management
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Key contact for audit for both quarterly and year end audit
- Internal control questionnaires
Essential experience/criteria:
- Statutory accounts preparation under FRS 101 &102
- Key contact for external auditors
- Knowledge of accounting standards
- SOX
- SAP - advantageous
- Advanced Excel
