Reprographics & Reception Cover, Temporary (2 Months), Part Time 9am-1pm 3 days per week

  • Monday, Thursday, Friday 9am to 1pm
  • Possible up to Friday 02 May
  • But excluding the Easter holidays w.c. 14 and 21 April as the position is term time only

Duties:

  • Operate office and reprographics equipment e.g. printer / photocopier / computer / binding machine / laminator etc to produce all resources for the school via a request system.
  • Prioritise workload to ensure timely delivery of resources.
  • Cover reception desks, answering telephone calls, signing in visitors, welcome visitors, ensure no unauthorised access to the school, assist parents with queries, recording pupil information, receive deliveries.
  • General administration duties as required.
  • Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
  • Be aware of and support difference and ensure equal opportunities for all.
  • Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school.
  • Have a responsibility of care for their own and others’ health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Essential:
    • At least 5 GCSE’s or equivalent, Grade C or above
    • Good keyboarding skills
    • Use of ICT, Microsoft Office products including data input
    • Ability to use relevant office equipment (keyboard, photocopier)
    • Enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service
  • Desirable:
    • Good numeracy/literacy skills
    • Experience of working in a school/educational establishment
    • Experience of working with photocopiers
