Are you a Quality Engineer looking for training and progression, that will see you develop into a Senior Quality Engineer? Are you interested in joining an industry leading company, offering lots of flexibility and an early finish on Fridays in order to promote great work-life balance?

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their highly skilled team, that they can train and develop into a Senior Quality Engineer in due course. This is a static role where you will be permanently based near Washington in Sunderland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interacting with suppliers to improve the quality function for a market leading, global organisation. Alongside this, you will support the QA Engineers with the development of new models, current production quality concerns and investigations into aftermarket warranty issues. Additionally, you will participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Full training will be provided in the role, this position would suit a Quality Engineer looking for training and development, that will see you develop into a Senior Quality Engineer.

The Candidate:
*Previous experience working as a Quality Engineer is essential
*Experience working to ISO9001 standards or similar, such as IATF16949 or AS9100
*Lives a commutable distance from Washington, near Sunderland

The Role:
*Improve the suppliers quality performance via audits defined by the QMS
*Support suppliers during New Model Development
*Manage supplier PPAP requirements during development and in mass production
*Collaborate with the Design and Development (D&D) team to assist in design and product validation testing.
*Assist investigations and troubleshoot product and production issues
*Contribute to developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements
