This role involves planning and implementing activities, supervising staff, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for children.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a room, ensuring high standards of care and education.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Supervise and support staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with all nursery policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a nursery setting.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
