Sonic Summary

Empowering Learning is seeking a Creative Teaching Assistant for a SEN school in Sunderland.
The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Candidates must hold a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and have experience working with students with SEND needs.
Experience in personal care, managing challenging behaviors, and knowledge of PECS and Makaton is preferred.
A DBS on the update service is required, and the salary for this role is competitive based on experience.

Empowering learning require a Creative Teaching Assistant to work in a SEN school in the Sunderland area. The role is 5 days a week Monday to Friday 8.00am-16.00 pm.

Hold a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant qualification and experience
Be responsive, flexible and sensitive to the differing needs of pupils. Including those with SEND needs.
To support students with ASC and SEMH needs
Experience of behaviours that challenge
Experience of supporting with personal care
Experience of PECS and Makaton would be an advantage
