Job Description:

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production machinery by performing proactive and reactive maintenance. Your primary focus will be on diagnosing and repairing electrical faults to minimize downtime and improve efficiency. The role involves working with PLC systems and troubleshooting complex faults in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Your duties will include:

  • Electrical fault finding and diagnostics to maintain production uptime

  • Planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems

  • Working with PLCs to troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability

  • Collaborating with production teams to minimize disruptions

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this Electrical Maintenance Engineer role, you will need:

  • Time-served electrical engineering experience (Apprenticeship or equivalent)

  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills

  • Experience working with PLC systems

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good knowledge of health & safety regulations

  • Desirable: Experience within an injection moulding environment
