Join our growing team delivering comprehensive electrical services for social housing providers and local authorities.
ROLE
- Install, service, and maintain electrical systems and appliances in line with the latest IET Wiring Regulations.
- Perform daily installation, testing, and inspection of electrical systems, producing EIC certificates.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues in domestic systems, including fault finding and rewiring.
- Complete tasks as directed using company software.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs, ensuring compliance with codes.
- Assess and order parts needed for jobs.
- Maintenance and testing on commercial and domestic systems, ensuring installations meet manufacturer standards.
- Rewire faulty systems, such as lighting, heating, and alarms.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries.
- Document installations
Essential Skills:
- 18th edition, 2391 testing inspection.
- ECS Gold Card.
- 2+ years of experience preferred.
- Previous experience in social housing is a plus but not essential.
- UK clean Driving Licence.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong time management skills to handle various tasks and meet deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and agile attitude.
- Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and foster a team spirit.
