Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Finance Officer with a strong focus on sales ledger management. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2/3 AAT qualification and a passion for finance. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the sales ledger using Sage, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.

Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and statements.

Monitor and chase outstanding debts to ensure timely payments.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Provide support and guidance to junior finance staff.

Qualifications & Experience

Level 2/3 AAT qualification or equivalent experience

Proven experience in a finance role with a focus on sales ledger.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
