A national Financial Advisory business are looking for an Associate Paraplanner to join their Sunderland-based offices. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody with exposure to a Financial Services environment (perhaps in a graduate or administrative role) who is looking to kick start their career within the Advisory sector. The business is well known for it's development of staff, with many demonstrating progression through Paraplanning to being Financial Advisors along with other areas such as support-based Team Leaders. Responsibilities include;

  • Review client information to build up an overall understanding of the client's personal and financial circumstances
  • Work collaboratively with advisers and other internal stakeholders to achieve good client outcomes and efficient working practices
  • Analyse the client's existing financial arrangements and assess their ongoing suitability to meet their goals and risk profile
  • Research appropriate solutions from the market effectively using qualitative and quantitative methods, in-house and third party software solutions
  • Use in-house and external financial planning tools such as cash flow modelling and cost comparisons tools effectively

Ideally you will be studying towards your Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice. The business will continue to support the costs of these exams, as well as offering a superb in-house training schedule to ensure you become a valued team member.
