Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and reliable FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift truck (FLT) and performing various warehouse duties to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift truck to move, stack, and unstack goods.
- Load and unload deliveries accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct regular checks and maintenance of the forklift truck.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory.
- Perform general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and labeling.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT license.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
