07:45 - 16:30- Monday to Thursday & 13:45 finish on a Friday

Job Description:

  • Oversee the health, safety, and wellbeing of all employees, contractors, and site visitors, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Promote and ensure adherence to company health, safety, and welfare policies, regularly reviewing and updating procedures as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections, both internally and in partnership with third-party and client groups, tracking progress and implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance the company's overall HSE performance.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and implementation of HSE management systems and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain HSE records and databases, ensuring all relevant documentation is accurately prepared and updated.
  • Participate in HSE activities, including risk identification, management, and in-house training sessions as required.
  • Prepare and submit environmental reports in line with ISO 14001 standards, while leading the implementation of environmental policies and practices.
  • Liaise with external bodies, such as local authorities and regulatory agencies, on matters related to environmental compliance.
  • Take charge of pollution control, waste management, recycling, and conservation efforts, while promoting sustainability and raising awareness across the company.
  • Ensure all tasks comply with company policies and take action to reduce potential risks, reporting key information to management as needed.

Skills and Requirements:

NEBOSH General or Equivalent

Experience in communicating with all management levels

Implementing change and training for all staff

Able to present and communicate effectively for the development of the HSE function.
