4 day week with full-time pay and benefits! A reputable commercial insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join its expanding team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with an established client base and focus on cross-selling policies to a portfolio of existing clients. We’re looking for a motivated candidate with experience in commercial lines insurance who can manage both inbound client requests and potential leads.

The ideal candidate will need to have specialist commercial insurance experience with public and employer liability. Ideally you should also have professional indemnity, commercial combined, and goods in transit policy experience. You’ll be responsible for contacting existing clients to gather renewal dates, setting appointments, and effectively cross-sell appropriate insurance policies. This role provides both part-time and full-time options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough client fact-finds

  • Securing quotes through online portals and working with underwriters directly

  • Presenting pricing options and closing sales

  • Cross-selling to an established client base, with additional new business leads provided (no cold calling)

Requirements

  • Proven experience in selling commercial lines insurance as outlined above

  • Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and insurers

  • Excellent IT skills and comfort learning new software
