Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager with extensive experience in commercial construction and a proven track record working with Tier 1 contractors. This role is a 12-month contract on a high-profile project, requiring a hands-on leader who can effectively manage site operations, ensure project timelines are met, and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work is completed on schedule and to a high standard.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any issues.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
• Monitor budgets, materials, and site logistics to maximize efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial projects.
• Strong background working with Tier 1 contractors.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Relevant construction qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).
