Milk Education are working in partnership with a SEMH school in Sunderland, who are looking to appoint a Child support worker. This full time role will be working on both a 1:1 and general classroom support basis. This Ofsted outstanding school supports students who are 5 - 11 years with SEMH.
About you as a child support worker
* Qualification relating to the education sector
* Available full time
* Previous experience supporting Children either any school / alternative provision/ social care / drama/ theatre
* Understanding of Safeguarding and able to adhere confidently to policies and procedures
Key responsibilities as a child support worker
* Work in partnership with the teacher and other support staff
* Support with learning and development
* Promote indpendence and implement learning stratergies
* Feeding and changing
