Milk Education are working in partnership with a SEMH school in Sunderland, who are looking to appoint a Child support worker. This full time role will be working on both a 1:1 and general classroom support basis. This Ofsted outstanding school supports students who are 5 - 11 years with SEMH.

About you as a child support worker

  • Qualification relating to the education sector
  • Available full time
  • Previous experience supporting Children either any school / alternative provision/ social care / drama/ theatre
  • Understanding of Safeguarding and able to adhere confidently to policies and procedures

Key responsibilities as a child support worker

  • Work in partnership with the teacher and other support staff
  • Support with learning and development
  • Promote indpendence and implement learning stratergies
  • Feeding and changing
