- Responsibilities include overseeing Factory Acceptance Testing, driving continuous improvements, and adhering to safety standards
The successful Test Engineering Supervisor / Testing Supervisor / Test Supervisor will manage and support the Test Engineers responsible for installation and commissioning and testing for hydrogen compressors, valves and associated products, ensuring accurate test results, adherence to safety standards, plus leading and motivating your team of Test Engineers to success.
Test Engineering Supervisor / Testing Supervisor / Test Supervisor will ideally have an engineering background at HNC/HND level in mechanical or electrical engineering and experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing or engineering projects.
Package:
£50,000-£55,000 depending on experience

Test Engineering Supervisor / Testing Supervisor / Test Supervisor Role
Supervise Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for hydrogen compressed air systems.
Oversee and motivate a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Drive continuous improvements in engineering testing procedures.
Adhere to safety standards and risk assessments.
Provide updates and performance data to the Engineering Director.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Test Engineering Supervisor / Testing Supervisor / Test Supervisor Requirements
Degree or HNC / HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing or engineering projects.
Test Engineers with hydrogen, compressed air or similar experience are encouraged to apply.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities within engineering
Expertise in high-pressure gas systems and Lean principles would be advantageous.
Commutable to Sunderland daily.
