The Role: Quantity Surveyor

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects. You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and development partners to manage procurement, commercial, and contractual aspects of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Material and Labour Management: Scheduling and quantifying resources to meet project demands.
  • Commercial Compliance: Ensuring processes align with company standards and improve cost-effectiveness.
  • Budget Management: Assisting in preparing, monitoring, and controlling project budgets.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engaging with internal teams and external partners to achieve project goals.
  • Site Engagement: Visiting sites to complete valuations and carry out key commercial duties.
  • Contract Administration: Managing payments, subcontractor agreements, and project variations.

What Youll Bring

  • Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role.
  • Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC, and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Industry-related business qualification.
  • Confidence in using IT systems, particularly COINS and Excel.
  • Ability to effectively manage internal and external clients.
