Our client in Sunderland is looking for an experienced roofer to work on social housing contracts.
Job description:
- Completing projects on social housing.
- Completing repairs on pitch and residential properties
- Inspecting surfaces to be tiled
- Surface preparation work
- Laying tiles according to tiling plan
- Cutting tiles where necessary
- Grouting gaps between tiles
- Carrying out finishing work
- Interpreting architectural plans
- Installing or repairing shingles, tiles, or other roofing materials
- Ensuring the roof is properly waterproofed
- Replacing or installing new roofing systems on buildings and customizing materials for individual roofs
Personal description:
- NVQ in slating or equivalent
- CSCS
- Working at Heights
- Over five years experience
- Full UK Clean Driving licence and own transport
- Must be willing to travel if necessary
