Education World is currently working on behalf of a number of Special educational needs settings in Sunderland (temp to perm opportunities available) to recruit passionate teachers who are eager to help bridge the gap for students with a range of additional needs in the local authority.

THE ROLE:

Full-Time and Part-time positions available.
Provide small group work and intervention support.
Offering 1:1 support for pupils with special needs and lower ability levels.
Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Specific Learning Difficulties, EBD and SEMH needs.
Supporting students with challenging behaviour.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Must be comfortable working with children who have MLD, ASC, and Behavioural issues.
Advantageous if the candidate has experience with sensory-based learning.
Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential.
