Junior National Account Manager - Surbiton, Surrey

We are recruiting for a global brand who are hiring a Junior National Account Manager to join their team based in Surbiton, Surrey. The Junior National Account Manager will be responsible for managing and driving the business relationship between the client and key customers and deliver the company sales plan.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Develop business plans to deliver the account strategy, working together with the Sales Manager, to consider business planning requirements.
  • Analyse account and competitor performance to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage and control account investment and maximise return on investment.
  • Ensure agreed account targets are met. Present the company plans, goals & strategy and convey its brand values and market share ambitions.
  • Drive company brand awareness within the account.
  • Manage the relationship and interface for key accounts.

The ideal candidate will be degree educated with between 1 to 2 years' account management experience, have strong analytical capabilities with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships. You will also need to be able to negotiate sales and handle accounts, be able to organise/prioritise workload and meet deadlines and deliver consistently a high-quality customer service. Also, you will need to understand UK retail horizon and impact of consumer purchasing patterns.
