Summary:

My client is looking for a product and marketing manager to join this well-established Company who are recruiting due to continual growth, this role will be at the forefront of the business and You will play a vital role in the development and marketing of products. You will be responsible for the complete life cycle of a product range from concept to end of life.

The successful candidate will develop and progress into part of our leadership team, working together with other managers and directors to improve performance across the wider business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marketing/ consumer product management to join this growing team

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Campaign planning - Analyse sales data to identify marketing opportunities, make recommendations, and execute your plans efficiently and effectively. Marketing takes place across newspapers and magazines, print mailings, catalogues and digital channels, and we are currently actively exploring other new channels such as TV marketing.
  • Advertising - Prepare copy or work with copywriters and develop creative briefs for advertising campaigns.
  • Budgeting - Project sales and costs for your products and take all necessary steps to achieve projected results.
  • Stock management -Set the ordering strategy to ensure that goods are ordered and delivered as required while managing excess inventory risk for your products.
  • Supplier negotiation - Liaise with manufacturers across the globe to negotiate the best costs, order volumes and delivery lead-times.
  • Customer communication - Maintain a good customer experience by working with our customer service and operations teams, keeping them informed of new offers and delivery dates.

Person Specification

  • Previous and related experience in a marketing/consumer product management role is required.
  • With an excellent academic track record, degree certificate of 2:1 or above in any discipline.
  • Drive to have an impact on results and proactively seek opportunities for the business and for your own development and progression.
