Early Years Practitioner

An opportunity has arisen for a Early Years Practitioner at an independent childrens day nursery in Surbiton.

You will be joining an Ofsted outstanding nursery setting in a role which offers support, development and progression opportunities, a starting salary of £12.00 - £16.00 per hour negotiable depending on experience.

Position Details

Your role will include:

  • Working as part of a team to provide an enabling environment in which children can play, learn and develop
  • Preparing and delivering activities in accordance with the EYFS
  • Observing, supporting and extending childrens learning
  • Creating individual learning journey records and evaluating key childrens learning and development progress.

You will ideally have:

  • A level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner qualification such as NVQ, NNEB, CACHE or recognised equivalent
  • A good understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Experience as a key worker within an early years setting is desirable but not essential
  • Good organisational skills
