Key Responsibilities:
Teach Modern Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, or German) across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5).
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, engaging lessons that motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Support the development of language skills, ensuring students have opportunities to build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to support individual learning needs.
Collaborate with colleagues in the MFL department and across the school to enhance the overall learning experience.
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to further your teaching career.
Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in a Modern Foreign Language (French, Spanish, or German) or a closely related subject.
Passionate about languages and teaching, with the ability to engage students of various abilities.
Experience teaching MFL at secondary school level (Key Stage 3/4/5) is desirable but not essential.
