Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
Encourage and inspire students to develop a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.
Use a variety of teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching and learning experience across the department.
Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, engagement, and academic success.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in English or a related field.
Proven experience teaching English at secondary school level.
A passion for English and the ability to engage and inspire students.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
