Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with special needs? Do you possess the dedication, patience, and empathy required to support their growth and development? If so, we invite you to become a vital part of our team as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant!

Tradewind are working in partnership with a school that supports primary aged children with complex and multiple needs, all of whom have an Education and Health Care Plan. The pupils may have Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and/or a diagnosis of an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASD). Some pupils have additional needs including visual impairment and hearing impairment. We are seeking candidates who are available both full-time and part-time.

Requirements:

Experience working with students with autism, communication difficulties, and social skill disorders is essential.

A genuine passion for working in special education and making a positive impact on young lives.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.

Patience, empathy, and understanding in supporting students with diverse needs.

Relevant qualifications or certifications in SEN or Childcare.
