Smart Education is currently recruiting for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and resilient SEN Class Teacher in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. This is a full-time role with an immediate start.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and other complex needs
  • Ability to design and deliver personalised teaching strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a positive attitude
  • Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service

The role involves working with a class of 11 Key Stage 1 pupils, supported by four teaching assistants. Many students have additional needs such as visual or hearing impairments and may display occasional behavioral outbursts. The ideal candidate will be experienced, resilient, and passionate about making a difference in children's lives.
