We are currently looking for an experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to join a well established, innovative Managed Service Provider in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. The successful candidate will provide 2nd / 3rd Line technical support to customers and end-users, troubleshoot problems, and maintain a high level of service delivery.

In addition to this, you will get involved in exciting project work and visit customer sites.

Responsibilities:• Provide technical support and assistance to customers and end-users, via both onsite and remote support• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals• Provide training and technical advice to customers and end-users• Create and maintain technical documentation• Monitor system performance and ensure system security• Participate in the implementation of new systems and technologies• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures

Requirements:• Experience within an MSP environment is a plus• Technical Knowledge of Windows Server, Networking, and Virtualization Technologies such as Hyper-V or VMWare• Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and other cloud technologies• Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
