The role of Assistant eCommerce Manager is to optimise sales and executing high-impact campaigns to mastering trading systems and tools.

The roles and responsibilities of this Assistant eCommerce Managerrole:

  • Execute the day-to-day trading of one or more websites under the guidance of the Trading Manager.
  • Manage and deliver trade reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis, analysing key business drivers and contributing to action plans to meet sales and profitability targets.
  • Leverage available data to analyse seasonal sales patterns, ensuring strong commercial awareness and reporting on competitor activity and customer behaviour.
  • Reporting to a Trading Manager, you will play a key role in executing campaign, brand, and promotional strategies.
  • Manage critical paths for all campaign and promotional activities, ensuring awareness and alignment across teams.
  • Ensure seamless communication of product and trading strategies with digital marketing and optimisation teams.
  • where applicable.
  • Represent the Digital Trading Team across the wider business, ensuring e-commerce KPIs are well understood and achievable for all stakeholders.

To be successful in this Assistant eCommerce Managerrole:

  • Ideally having a minimum of 3 +years experience in a comparable digital role within an eCommerce, retail or consumer brand environment.
  • Ideally have worked in an eCommerce or digital trading manager, digital marketing, senior assistant, specialist or executive level.
  • Experience leading a Trading Assistants or intern is desirable but not essential
  • Must have valid working rights in the UK.
  • Highly analytical with strong reporting capabilities; proficient in Google Analytics
  • Proven ability to drive both incremental improvements and large-scale strategic initiatives that enhance sales performance.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
