A high-achieving Secondary School in Sutton are looking to set up interviews with STEM Academic Mentors who can confidently support students across Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths subjects for the duration of the 24-25 academic year.

Initially offering one-year contracts, this STEM Academic Mentor role will prove to be the perfect stepping stone for aspiring Teachers.

We are looking for assured, ambitious and enthusiastic STEM Graduates to work as an Academic Mentor within STEM subjects. Students at this school are very well behaved and attentive in their studies, they have high expectations for themselves and are fully engaged with school life.

As the new STEM Academic Mentor, you will be given your own classroom to tutor small groups of students across Years 7-11. These intervention groups will consist of students who have been identified as needing additional support. You will also support students in-class.

This STEM Academic Mentor role would perfectly suit a STEM Graduate who is considering a career within Teaching but wants to gain a solid amount of school experience before applying for Teacher Training.
