Are you a qualified ACCA/ACA Qualified at Audit Manager level or equivalent seeking a new challenge within a thriving forward thinking local practice?

Do you have experience of managing a team of audit professionals with strong management communication and client liaison skills?

Our client is an expanding 10 Partner Sutton based Accountancy Practice dedicated to ensuring their clients achieve their goals and providing a 1st class level of client support & service.

They are currently seeking to recruit a Qualified Audit Manager to join their extremely friendly and highly professional team at their offices in Sutton to carry out the following areas of responsibility:-

Reporting to the Audit Partner, the role will primarily focus on managing a team of Audit Seniors who lead and deliver statutory and specialist audit services as well as carry out the following duties:-

Prepare statutory accounts for some audit clients.

Prepare corporation tax returns and directors’ [personal tax returns for some audit clients.

Provide accountancy and advisory services to support the wider team.

Design and lead audits from planning through to completion, liaising with the team and client where necessary.

Conduct or support pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.

Using accounting software, prepare and finalise audit files in readiness for review.

Monitor and control job budgets ensuring that audits are completed on time and within budget.

Review junior colleagues' work and encourage prompt and high-quality delivery and service.

Contribute to the firm’s growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
