About the Role:We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Officer to join the People's Services department at Sutton Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide vital administrative support within a social care setting, ensuring services run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:-Coordinating and scheduling meetings, including statutory and multi-agency meetings-Minute-taking for complex meetings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines-Handling referrals, applications, and correspondence (emails, phone calls, letters)-Updating and maintaining records and trackers-Supporting recruitment processes and subject access requests-Ensuring compliance with data protection, confidentiality, and governance policies-Assisting with complaints and file retrieval requests

About You:-IT Proficient - Strong IT skills and experience using business applications-Communication Skills - Clear and effective verbal and written communication-Team Player - Ability to work collaboratively while managing individual tasks-Organised & Efficient - Able to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure-Compassionate Approach - Positive attitude towards supporting vulnerable individuals and carers-Flexible & Adaptable - Willingness to adapt to the needs of the role

Additional Information:-This role falls Inside IR35-Candidates must be available for the full contract duration-The top 10 shortlisted candidates will be submitted for client review
