Have you got experience working in an education environment? Do you have a DBS on the Update service? We are seeking an Administrative Assistant with knowledge of bursary payments in education. This role is based in Sutton, and offers a flexible working schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience with Excel and a background in educational administration.

  • Job Type: Part-time ongoing 8:45 AM to 4:30 PM ( term time only )
Day-to-day of the role of a School Admin Assistant :
  • Spend three days per week with the Admissions and Student Services team, assisting with various administrative tasks.
  • Work one day per week with the MIS (Management Information Systems) team, helping to manage and analyse data related to educational programs.
  • Utilise Excel to manage and organise data effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of bursary payments and ensure compliance with educational funding regulations.
  • Provide support to both teams in handling enquiries and processing documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications required for the role of a School Admin Assistant:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role within the education sector.
  • Knowledge of bursary payments and educational funding.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and coordinate tasks across different teams.
  • Dbs on the update service or to be prepared to apply for one
