Henry Seymour (part of the Jensten Group) have an exciting opportunity to join our well-established team in Sutton as a Commercial Operations Manager.

While Jensten have recently celebrated becoming a company of 1000 employees, our Henry Seymour division is made up of a very friendly 20 + people. This opening excitingly sits within our successful and growing Digital Schemes division and you will be working as a Commercial Manager, managing 4 direct reports, and taking an active role in driving performance.

This role is particularly ideal for someone currently in a senior or team leader position, who is eager to take the next step into a full-fledged management role with greater responsibility and impact.

Initially working full time in the office, a blend of office and home working will be available on completion of probation.

Key objectives & responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day to day leadership of the team with a specified remit - to include performance reviews, driving CPD and supporting team hires
  • Utilising and enhancing digital MI to drive performance efficiencies and ensure targets are achieved
  • Implementing a business development strategy that drives performance and achieves income growth targets
  • Identifying new opportunities to develop digital scheme income
  • Liaising closely with the Managing Directors about account performance, strengths, weaknesses and opportunities, as well as management of existing external relationships
  • Ensuring that service levels are agreed and maintained and insurer and supplier relationships remain strong
  • Continually reviewing processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and quality client servicing
  • Monitoring performance of the call system including bounce rates, call drop-offs and average answer times

About You

This is a great role for somebody looking to get in to Digital and experience running a professional contact centre environment. We are looking for candidates that want to utilise and build on their management and operational skills, are organised and detail orientated who will be able to build & strengthen relationships easily at all levels. You will need to have a flair for providing solutions and having good influencing/ persuasion skills.

You will also be or have:

  • Insurance industry background
  • Experience in a similar role or looking to take a step into Operations Management
  • Experience utilising and enhancing digital MI to drive performance
  • Ability to simplify complex information to stakeholders
  • Proficient with good IT and systems knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Open GI system knowledge (desirable)
