The Role:
I am looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher for a one-year fixed term contract. You will play a pivotal role in delivering a rich and engaging curriculum while fostering a love for learning in every child. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and forward-thinking school.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all pupils to thrive.
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with SEND and EAL.
  • Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support holistic student outcomes.
  • Uphold safeguarding and school policies to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

 

What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have experience teaching at KS1.
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
  • Have a strong understanding of inclusive practices and be skilled in adapting teaching to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Be committed to fostering a positive and nurturing classroom ethos.
  • Bring energy, creativity, and a desire to continually improve as an educator.
