Are you an experienced Project Manager within the Water and Civil sector?

My client a main contractor are looking for Project Manager to join them on a Water project in South London covering the Thames Water area.

This is an excellent  opportunity to work within the Water/Utilities sector starting on a contract basis with a view to become more permanent for the right person paying up to £65,000 per annum.

The ideal Project Manager will oversee and coordinate multiple projects and improvement initiatives to support the capital delivery team in delivering an efficient, effective, and agile service provision to the client.   

Responsibilities include.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting, for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinate project activities, tasks, and deliverables to ensure timely execution and achievement of project objectives.
  • Implement effective project management methodologies and best practices to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.


Skills, Experience and Knowledge Requirements.

  • Knowledge of relevant management techniques (resource management, monitoring and control, Cost Planning and Programme Management)
  • Financial awareness
  • H&S Company Policy, Construction Regulations and CDM, HSE at Work Act
  • Knowledge of contract law and appropriate Conditions of Contract
  • Construction practice (pipelaying, tunnelling, MEICA installation, reinforced concrete, flow diversions, etc.)
  • Awareness of clean and dirty water networks
