About the School and RoleOur vibrant Secondary School in Sutton is seeking a passionate English Teacher to join our supportive team. We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced educators who are eager to create an inclusive and positive learning environment. We also have opportunities for TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility) or Leadership Scale for exceptional candidates.
What We Are Looking ForAs an English Teacher, you will teach across Years 7 to 11, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5. We offer GCSE English Language and Literature and English Literature in the Sixth Form, providing you with the chance to make a significant impact at both key stages. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, maintaining high expectations, and driving improved outcomes for students.
Key Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
- A passion for English with the ability to inspire students through creative and engaging teaching.
- High expectations of yourself and students, with a focus on improving learning outcomes.
