About the role - Secondary SEN Teacher - Sutton

Provide inspirational, specialist, and highly differentiated lessons to classes with Special Educational Needs at KS3 and KS4.
Assessment should be used accurately and productively to promote good pupil (academic) progress and emotional development, including the use of Boxall Profiles each term.
Establish a stimulating and well-structured learning environment for students with special educational needs.
Ensure that the needs of students in your SEND classes are addressed across the wider school, as well as with their mainstream class teachers
Provide support with numeracy and literacy, as well as deliver a variety of subjects, including Geography, History, Religious Education, and enrichment, as part of a bespoke, topic-based curriculum.
Actively participate in the development of the school, including the development of departments and whole schools, as well as implementing national best practices
Take an active part in the school's performance development, review, and supervision processes.
