Reeson Education is currently seeking a passionate and dynamic teacher to join a supportive primary special needs school in the London Borough of Sutton, with an immediate start available.

The school is dedicated to serving 148 students aged 4-18 with Speech, Language, and Communication challenges, including those on the autistic spectrum and those exhibiting Pathological Demand Avoidance. Alongside its main Primary and Secondary campuses, the school operates a satellite facility that offers a supportive and caring space for autistic youth who display demand-avoidant behaviours.

All three locations are conveniently located within the London Borough of Sutton, with excellent public transport links and proximity to a variety of leisure, recreational, and educational resources, as well as easy access to both Surrey and London.

Regarding the Position:

  • As a Class Teacher, you will instruct a group of Key Stage 2 students with Speech, Language, and Communication needs or those with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).
  • You will also be responsible for leading a curriculum subject across the Primary site.
  • This position is full time for the academic year - a permanent contract is on offer for the right candidate.
  • You must hold QTS for this position and have at least two years teaching experience within the UK.
