We are seeking a Photography Lecturer to lead a beginners’ course focused on the fundamentals of creating images. This role is ideal for someone passionate about photography and skilled in educating others, providing a comprehensive introduction to the art and technique of photography.

Day-to-day of the role of a Photography Lecturer:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures on basic photography to beginners.
  • Demonstrate the use of DSLR cameras, including settings, composition, and lighting.
  • Prepare course materials and outlines that effectively convey key photography concepts.
  • Assess and review students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment for all students.
  • Coordinate with the course administration to ensure smooth delivery of sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications required for the Photography Lecturer role:
  • Must hold a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in using DSLR cameras.
  • Strong understanding of photography techniques and principles.
  • Previous experience in teaching or training, preferably in photography or a related field.
  • Must possess a DBS or be prepared to have one processed. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
