Finance Manager

Swadlincote (Hybrid, 3 days at site with 2 from home)

We are working exclusively with a Swadlincote based business to hire a qualified Accountant into the position of Finance Manager. This newly created role is a result of their strong operational performance and ambitious growth plans. Our client is looking for an ambitious individual that is ultimately looking to progress into a Financial Controller over time.

As Finance Manager you will have responsibility for all Accounting reporting/controls across a core part of our clients business ensuring compliance, efficiency and accountability.

You will:

Manage full month end management accounting process, annual audit process and compliance requirements

Oversee & manage the annual budget process and regular forecasting to create no surprise culture

Oversee a small accounts team

Manage capital spend projects

Identify and action process improvement opportunities

This role is ideally suited to a well-rounded qualified Management Accountant with strong commercial awareness with experience gained in the manufacturing space. You will need exceptional influencing skills and ability to build productive partnerships with site stakeholders. Our client is keen to attract an ambitious Accountant with strong reporting and analysis skills along with aspirations to grow within their business.
