Job Title: PM Warehouse Shift Manager

Client: Leading 3PL Logistics Provider

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (14:00 - 22:00)

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 + Package

Role Location: Measham, Derbyshire

Loom Talent have been exclusively appointed on a PM Warehouse Shift Manager vacancy by a leading 3PL business due to open a key DC in their growing network, based in Measham, Derbyshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People-Centric Leadership: Lead and inspire a dedicated team to reach their full potential. Your focus on the well-being and development of your staff will be the cornerstone of success whilst having a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Health & Safety: Uphold rigorous health and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness throughout the warehouse and distribution arm of the business.
  • Performance Metrics: Continue to evolve the organisational approach to KPI's, whilst ensuring existing and new site standardisation.
  • Performance Management: Proven experience managing under / over performance, along with experience leading; Probation reviews, Return to works, PDP's, Annual Reviews and Disciplinary's.
  • WMS & ERP Expertise: Utilise your experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Business Systems to drive operational efficiency.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the seamless flow of goods from the warehouse to the end customer.

Key Candidate Requirements:

The successful candidate for the PM Warehouse Shift Manager position will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Have a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background - Essential.
  • Have a minimum of 3+ years' experience at a Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse Shift Manager / Warehouse Manager or Operations Manager level - Essential.
  • Have managed teams beyond 20+ employees through direct managerial reports - Essential.
  • Exceptional people management and leadership skills - Essential.
  • An understanding of Lean Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement Methodology - Advantageous.
  • A working knowledge of WMS / ERP systems - Advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities - Essential.
  • Commutable to Measham, Derbyshire for 5 days per week - Essential.
