Role Overview:
Our client, a leading business in the manufacturing space, are looking to onboard a Senior Infrastructure Specialist into their team. This role has came about due to significant growth in the business, and is reflective of the ambition of the business to ensure that infrastructure security is at the forefront of their growth plans.

Key Requirements:

  • 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience, ideally in a process manufacturing environment
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft on-prem and cloud solutions, including M365, Azure AD, Defender, Autopilot, Intune, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Hyper-V
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure (IP, WAN/LAN, Wi-Fi) with experience in Dell servers and Unifi switches preferred (but not absolutely necessary!)
  • Familiarity with common backup solutions
  • Proven project management skills in delivering infrastructure solutions

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, and configure Microsoft Windows and server technologies (virtual and physical)
  • Manage Windows and hybrid Exchange environments per departmental policies
  • Oversee domain and DNS functions
  • Create and update procedural documentation
  • Lead designated infrastructure projects
  • Support continuous development of IT infrastructure across sites
  • Manage new software deployments independently
  • Maintain business continuity procedures and research new technologies for business applications
