Production Operatives - Leading International Company

Location: Swaffham, Norfolk (PE37)

Salary: £23,700 + overtime + benefits + great career prospects

Our client is the UK’s leading independent scientific group, providing laboratory analysis to the agriculture, food, and environmental sectors. This is a real opportunity for someone who wants to learn a skillset which could lead to a career in the sciences, geology and laboratory analysis and techniques which is invaluable to all sectors and industries across the globe.

We are now looking for these talented individuals to join their team as Production Operatives on a permanent basis.

Full Training will be provided, and no experience is necessary.

The role:

  • Collect and unload samples and prepare them for drying, grinding, and analysing
  • Sort, barcode, and record sample data.
  • Ensure the Standard Operating Procedures provided are followed.
  • Work as a team and maintaining morale and actively offer help and assistance wherever possible.

The person:

  • Enthusiasm, energy, and ability to handle high levels of workload which includes repetitive work but interesting work
  • Must be able to work effectively and collaborate within own team and other sections.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
  • Highly organised and excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work alone.
  • Comfortable with a physical role

Ability to work on either of the following shifts:

  • 7am - 3pm
  • 9am - 5pm

Experience of working in a fast paced, busy environment and working between department is desirable but full ongoing training and development opportunities will be given to all.
