Financial Controller – Swanley, Kent – £65,000 + Excellent Benefits
We are recruiting for a talented Financial Controller to join a dynamic company based in Swanley, Kent. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading supplier of sustainable and organic products, offering a competitive salary of £65,000 along with a strong benefits package.
You will be responsible for managing the finance function of a growing business with multiple locations across the UK, with the opportunity to progress to a senior leadership role within the company (the FD will be retiring in the next 6 months). This office-based position offers significant scope for career growth in an exciting and innovative industry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, overseeing financial reporting and analysis.
- Manage budgets and forecasts across multiple business sites.
- Support operational teams with financial insights to improve business performance.
- Process journals and oversee payroll, depreciation, stock management, and more.
- Collaborate with site managers across the UK to ensure accurate reporting and cost control.
What Experience is Required:
- Proven experience at Financial Controller or Finance Manager level.
- Strong knowledge of Sage and the ability to manage complex financial date.
- Experience of working within businesses in the £10mn to £25mn region.
- ACCA or CIMA qualification essential
