Job Purpose

  • Undertake daily bookkeeping duties for a broad range of clients, including sales invoice processing, purchase invoice processing and bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts to the highest standard
  • Review bookkeeping prepared by junior
  • Oversee reconciliations of control accounts
  • Post monthly wages journals
  • Preparation of monthly CIS returns
  • Provide training to clients

The Successful Applicant

  • AAT qualified and Xero certified, studying, or qualified by experience
  • Recent bookkeeping experience is essential, with a proactive approach to handling accounts
  • Good working knowledge of accounting software including Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
  • Good analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Datamolino, Concur, Expensify and Fathom desirable, but not essential
  • A can-do attitude to problem-solving
  • Good communications skills, both written and verbally
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
