Fire Service Engineer (South Wales)

Job Opportunity:

An opportunity has arisen for a Fire Service Engineer with good experience to work throughout the South of Wales covering Newport, Cardiff and Swansea on various commercial contracts and project work.

The successful individuals will be carrying out:

  • Working on either the Maintenance, Projects or Small Works Teams.
  • Service and Maintenance,  Installation / Commissioning of fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with fire alarm systems.
  • Provide technical support to customers as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of all work completed via our system

Must Have Experience Required / Certifications Required:

  • Fire Alarm Engineering Qualified (FIA Qualifications, Manufactures courses attended for panel installation/commissioning)
  • Knowledge of fire alarm system installation techniques, equipment, and tools.
  • Understanding of industry regulations and standards - BS5839
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid drivers licence

Annual Salary

£36,000-£40,000 (Depending on experience) + Company Van, Pension, On call premium, Overtime, Tools, Work Phone and Bonus scheme linked to performance.
