About the Company
An international contractor who specialise in the delivery of modular residential projects, including houses, apartments and student accommodation.

Currently delivering high value schemes across the UK, Europe and further afield, they are one of the biggest construction companies in the world.

They have a small close knit team based in South Wales who are spearheading their UK division, and opportunities have arose for Revit Technicians, Architectural Assistants and BIM Modellers to join them to assist with draiwing tasks.

About the Role
The team is headed up by a Chartered Architect / Head of Design and a Senior BIM Coordinator.

The Architectural Assistant will provide technical support directly to the project team members, reporting directly into the Head of Design.

You will be responsible for understanding the teams needs for Revit project delivery content, and will have competencies in the following areas:
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Revit and related plugins is essential
  • Knowledge of other software such as Twinmotion, and NBS Chorus is beneficial.
  • Coding experience is considered an advantage.

The Role & Responsibilites will include:
  • Setup and manage in-house project models and models for the supply chain.
  • Produce 3D model elements and manage model outputs.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of COBie information and deliverables.

What You Need to Succeed in the Role:
The successful candidate will come from an Architectural background and have advanced Revit skills and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong design sensitivity and package running ability.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of RIBA work stages.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.
  • Develop BIM modelling standard in consultation with the Senior BIM coordinator.
  • Ensure compliance with project standards and protocols.
  • Maintain and deliver project BIM models, ensuring adherence to BIM standards, validation, and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience with medium to large-scale complex projects within an architectural office is essential.
  • Advanced understanding of volume strategies, clash avoidance strategies, issue management, and MEP & Structural coordination management is highly beneficial.
