Our clientsis a specialist joinery manufacturer producing high-quality bespoke furniture and joinery. We are seeking a skilled Furniture Sprayer & Finisher to join their team and contribute to the finishing of our custom-made pieces.
Job Role:
As a Furniture Sprayer & Finisher, you will be responsible for the preparation and finishing of high-end furniture and joinery items. You will ensure the highest quality standards in surface preparation, priming, painting, lacquering, and finishing.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and sanding furniture and joinery components for finishing

Applying primers, paints, lacquers, and stains to achieve the required finish

Ensuring all finishes meet our high-quality standards

Colour matching and mixing paints as required

Maintaining spray booths and finishing areas to ensure cleanliness and efficiency

Working with a variety of materials including wood, MDF, and veneers

Assisting in the development of improved finishing techniques and processes

Adhering to health and safety regulations, ensuring proper use of PPE and ventilation systems
Requirements & Skills:
-
Experience in furniture spraying and finishing, preferably in a joinery workshop

Alternatively, experience in car spraying with transferable skills

Strong knowledge of paint, lacquer, and staining techniques

Ability to work with different finishes such as matt, satin, and high gloss

Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Opportunities for Progression:
We are also open to hiring a Spraying / Finishing Progressor,someone eager to learn and develop into a fully skilled sprayer. This role would involve sanding, prepping, and finishing ahead of painting, with training provided to advance your skills.
