Key Responsibilities:As a Corporate Commercial Paralegal, your role will include:
- Assisting solicitors and partners with a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, and shareholder agreements.
- Conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and drafting contracts.
- Supporting with due diligence exercises, including reviewing and summarising contracts, company records, and other documents.
- Managing client correspondence and ensuring a high level of client care throughout the transaction process.
- Assisting with the preparation of board resolutions, minutes, and Companies House filings.
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks and managing case files efficiently.
What We're Looking For:To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Prior experience working as a paralegal in a corporate or commercial law setting.
- A strong academic background, preferably with a law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
- A proactive and professional attitude, with a desire to learn and develop your legal expertise.
