Facilities Maintenance Engineer (4 on 4 off - Days)

Position Overview:

As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern you will be a crucial part of our client's operations. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of site equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of the facility. If you're a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding role, this is your opportunity.

This is what you'll be doing.

  • Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems.
  • Conduct inspections to identify electrical safety hazards and compliance issues.
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
  • Assist in planning and executing facility improvement projects with an electrical emphasis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve facility goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, especially in electrical work.
  • Work on a variety of equipment, including pumps, fans, compressors, steam boilers, HVAC systems, wastewater treatment systems, cooling systems, and the utilities distribution networks.

The experience you'll bring to the team.

  • Previous experience in a Facilities or Site services role
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repair skills
  • Recognised engineering qualifications (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent)
  • Previous refrigeration experience or F Gas Qualification is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced setting
